In industrial steam generation systems such as power plants and incineration plants, dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide in the boiler feed water cause corrosion throughout the feed water system, ultimately leading to a rapid decrease in the lifespan of the piping and the overall plant. To remove these dissolved gases, the installation of a Deaerator is essential. A Deaerator also serves the secondary function of a Feed Water Heater that preheats the boiler feed water to the required temperature and thereby improves the overall efficiency of the system.
