Feed Water Heaters are essential components of industrial steam generation systems, such as power plants. They use extraction steam as the heating medium to heat low-pressure or high-pressure feed water upstream of the Steam Generator (that is, the Boiler) to improve the overall thermal efficiency of the process. They are also used as District Heating (D.H.) Heaters to heat the hot water supply in District Heating Systems.

At Korea Energy Industries, Ltd. we design, manufacture, and supply optimized L.P. and H.P. Feed Water Heaters and D.H. Heaters in full compliance with applicable standards, including KS, JIS, ASME, and HEI.

In particular, Thermal Rating is performed using leading computer programs developed specifically for Feed Water Heaters, which have considerably more complex internal configurations than those of conventional heat exchangers. This ensures reliable and accurate design results.
